My name is Heather. And I want to be a blogger.

There is a helluva lot of stuff floating around in my head about dogs, so I thought it was a good idea to try my luck at writing it down. I have always loved to write, and I have always loved dogs. I have been working with dogs professionally since 1998, so I have collected a fair amount of information. I have been right, and I have been wrong. I have obsessively sought out new, ethical and science based information in canine learning. I have finally settled on what defines me as a teacher for our canine learners. If no one reads any of my writings, that is okay too. I am happy to clear some of the canine clutter in my head and tuck it into categories in cyberspace.
